Welcome to the Canterbury Belles Training Website
| Pictured right with Mike Kennedy, founder of Canterbury Belles Training
is Alan Fergus, Director of Development with the National
Rounders Association, who said " I have known Mike since he first
entered a new team Canterbury Belles into the St Helens league in the year
2000. Since then, his boundless enthusiasm, networking skills and thirst
to develop our game, has seen him become the most pro-active of Coach
Tutors. In 2007 he achieved his Sportscoach UK Coach Tutoring
qualification (CTS). He has helped hundreds of new coaches through NGB
qualification s
and has been instrumental in helping in the resurgence of our sport. His
particular drive to coach trainee teachers will give a massive boost to
the quality of rounders coaching in our schools and colleges.
Mike's seven day a week availability means you can book a course to fit
in with your requirements.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Canterbury Belles Training
to deliver your training courses on behalf of the National
Rounders Association."

Canterbury
Belles The Team
The Canterbury Belles played their first season in 2000.
They were made
up of mums who had children at St Thomas of Canterbury School in
St Helens
, Merseyside, and friends, after head teacher Mr Orlandi had written apiece in
the school newsletter. Seven seasons later, their personnel may have change, but
the ethos of the team lives on!!!
The Belles like to involve everyone, regardless of ability
or experience. Every member” gets a game”, and participation and fun in sport is
our No1 aim. So much so, that local businesses Glen freight and Fosters DIY
donate funding annually to support us.
