Courses for individuals or small groups

Rounders "Taster Days"

 If you have a group of people who you would like to introduce to the game, we have a short course designed to introduce you to rules, Health & Safety and equipment, with a practice game for participants. Included in the price * is a brand new Rounders equipment bag, with all the kit you need to star your own team. The course is delivered to suit you at a convenient venue, and can accommodate up to 20 players

Young Leaders Award

 *Candidates need to be 14+ and must have completed Sports leaders/JSLA module 1

6 Hour Course

Bolt-on course, comprising the preliminary umpiring award and introduction to coaching.

Resources include NRA Rules, small-sided games, and hints for coaches in elementary skills.

Young person obtains a Young Leaders Course Certificate and NRA preliminary umpires certificate if pass mark of 16 is achieved.

Level 1 NGB Coaching Award

 

 Candidates must be aged 14+

 

Typical Course details.

Aims: To give the experience of assisting, more experience in delivering coaching sessions

 

Objectives: To develop experience and expertise in Rounders, enabling the candidate as an assistant coach. To guide players on how best to make use of their existing skills, How to correct basic faults and how to start to use tactics.

Level 2 NGB Coaching Award

Candidates must be aged 16+, preferably with experience of the game.

Qualification designed for candidates who wish to be able to coach Rounders on their own merit, playing a lead role in the development and progression of players.

Time: 20 Hours.

Umpires Courses

 Umpires courses are available at various levels. Prices on application.

Coaching courses for individuals or small groups

We can now offer coaching courses for individuals who are happy to learn with other individuals or small groups. You may not belong to an organisation who has over ten candidates.

Simple e-mail Canterburybelles training with your contact number and address. When we have enough candidates to make up a course quota, we will deliver at a venue central to all candidates.

Booking & costs information

Costs are dependant on location, numbers and various other factors e.g. hire of premises etc., and we will be pleased to give you a quote on application.
