If you have a
group of people who you would like to introduce to the game, we have a short
course designed to introduce you to rules, Health & Safety and equipment,
with a practice game for participants. Included in the price * is a brand new
Rounders equipment bag, with all the kit you need to star your own team. The course is delivered to suit you at a convenient venue, and can accommodate
up to 20 players

*Candidates should be 14+
5 Hour Course
Bolt-on course, comprising the preliminary umpiring award
and introduction to coaching, and includes adapting the game for differing skill
levels, organising a festival, and umpiring experience.
Resources include Rounders England Rules, small-sided games, and hints
for coaches in elementary skills.
Young person obtains a CBT Leaders Course Certificate and Rounders England preliminary umpires certificate if pass mark of 15 is achieved.

This course is ideally suited to anyone wishing to
organise Rounders events or festivals.
It is a five hour course, and includes Rounders
England rules, with a 20 question test paper, (pass mark 15)
sessions on how to adapt the game to suit participants, skills and
drills to maximise abilities as well as how to manage a tournamnent,
with time management and also lots of umpiring tips.
The beauty of this course is that it can made
bespoke to your requirements. |

Canterbury Belles Training
Gold, Silver and Bronze Coaching
Awards
Many organisations and individuals may find that the new
qualifications on offer are beyondtheir means, when it comes to cost. Canterbury Belles Training
can now offer what was the old Lvel 2 coaching
qualification,which can also include assessments at a time and venue to
suit you.
Gold Award:
5 hour course, covering the
ten disciplines in Rounders, candidate assessment information and
assessments done on site, within six months
Cost £150 per person. ( Min 10,
max 20)
Cost includes tutor fee,
travel
expenses@40p
per mile and resources
Silver Award:
As Gold Award, but assessment to be arranged by
candidates themselves, and done by an occupationally competent assessor.
(e.g.Deputy/ Head of Dept)
Cost £90 per person ( Min 10, max 20)

Bronze Award:
4 hour course, covering the ten disciplines
in Rounders, looking at the basics of the game, rules, umpiring at Key
stage 2/3, and correcting basic faults when coaching.

Umpires courses are available at various levels. Prices on
application.
Mike is now a Rounders England Umpire Tester, so can help you
prepare for your competitions.

Coaching
courses for individuals or small groups
We can now offer coaching courses for individuals who are happy to
learn with other individuals or small groups. You may not belong to an
organisation who has over ten candidates.
Simple e-mail Canterburybelles training with your contact number and
address. When we have enough candidates to make up a course quota, we
will deliver at a venue central to all candidates.
